Ooh, so close!

Sorry for the lack of updates, but generally If I dont have anything new to report, I dont worry too much about posting anything.

Last month we came the closest yet to getting Cosmos greenlit. So close but just missed out. We pitched Cosmos to the ABC network here in Australia, who were looking for something along the genre lines such as it is. They loved the pilot and all the work we'd done on the project.

From what I heard, it came down to Cosmos and another project pitched to them from another team. Cosmos being a little more family-orientated and light hearted, the other project more darker and adult.

We thought the odds were in our favour since ABC's track record with DrWho, Torchwood, Sanctuary and others had us thinking Cosmos would be right up their alley.

Alas it wasnt to be, them choosing the other darker, more adult project they were presented from the other team.

We were wrapped we got so close, the closest we'd been so far, but of course it's frustrating we lost out after slugging away with this project for so long.

Anyway, onward and upward. We're considering our strategies and will be trying again with other avenues soon.

Cosmos Screening a Hit!

Thanks to everyone that came along to the Cosmos premiere screening on Monday night.
It was very well received by all and I was wrapped with the feedback from all involved.

Welcome to the Cosmos Screening

After 12 months of hard work the Welcome to the Cosmos pilot episode is finally complete! We're having a screening in Melbourne in the first week of December at a local bar/lounge.
